From wherever you are in Scopje, you can see the huge metallic Millennium Cross stretching to the height of 66 meters. The cross was built on the highest point of the Vodno mountain by the Macedonian Orthodox Church in order to celebrate 2000 years of Christianity in the World. On the city slopes one can enjoy old villages, monasteries and cathedrals. 

Macedonians are renowned for their hospitability, thus after the trip to this country you are bound to get unforgettable memories and find many new friends.

It is no coincidence that every two years the unique event i.e. the World Healthcare Students Symposium takes place in this country. The organizing committee consists of the members Macedonian Medical Students Association (ММСА) as well as the world's leading students associations in medicine, pharmacy, dentistry, veterenary, and physiotherapy (IFMSA, EMSA, IADS, IPSF, EDSA, IVSA, EPSA, ECPTS, ect.). Every symposium brings togeter more than 350 students from different counties and provides the unique opportunity to discuss current topics and the most pressing medical issues, broaden their scientific potential, give shape to new ideas and most importantly, make new friends!
