Next were discussed possible ways of closer collaboration between ANSS and ESRS. Prof. Roberto Amici and Prof. Lino Nobili (Italy) - ESRS secretary – made reports on that issue.
At the last day of the meeting R.Amici also talked about possibility of conducting joint researches with financial support, and one of the way is project called Horizon 2020 which gives opportunities to centers from different countries join research. Marta Goncalves (Portugal) offered to join efforts in performing another public and socially-oriented project aimed at promotion of healthy sleep and methods of its improvement in elderly people.
President of the Icelandic society Erna Sif Arnardottir presented final version of the article to be published about different approaches to realization and analysis of polysomnography studies in European countries.
Raphael Heinzer, President of the Swiss somnology society, made a presentation on application of different criteria and necessity of its unification. His lecture was based on results of very detailed and perfectly planned analysis of cohort study performed in Lausanne (Switzerland).
Michaela D. Gjertsad (Norway) presented a publication project about differences in healthcare payment systems of somnology labs in range of countries.
