RSC president Prof. Evgeny Shlyakhto is honoured with the ESC Gold Medal

Prof. Evgeny Shlyakhto was among three laureates of the ESC Gold Medal this year. The award was handed during the Opening ceremony and Innaugural ceremony of the ESC congress 2018.

In his moving acceptance speech Prof. Shlyakhto thanked ESC, his colleagues and his family for the great support. He noted that this is not only his personal achievement but an immense work of all Russian cardiologists, and he is more than great full that their common work was acknowledge on such level.
