Battle of the scholars 2015: who will be the first among equals?

Dear Colleagues!

We invite you to take part in the competition on knowledge of practice guidelines that will be based on clinical cases. The first battle took place in 2014, and the winner was team ЭНГПКФЭ from Khanty-Mansiysk.


For who?
For young cardiologists and physicians, members of the Russian Society of Cardiology.
 
How and where?
Battle of scholars will have two stages.

The first stage will be held on the website of Russian Society of Cardiology www.scardio.ru Registered teams solve clinical caseslisted on the website and take points for the correct answers, and then should send their clinical case. Three teams with the highest scores will come to the final.
Teams selected for the final will be awarded with grants for travel and participation in the National Congress of Cardiology in Moscow (September 22-25, 2015)!
The second stage will take place at the National Congress of Cardiology in Moscow. Three teams will compete by answering questions from different areas of cardiology. Teams choose questions and its cost (the number of points for the correct answer of the question you can get) - the "cheap" questions are the humorous, the more complex task gives more points for correct answer.
An independent jury considers the degree of answers correctness and resolves disputes.
The team with the biggest score will be the winner of the Battle of scholars!
 
What is the prize?
The team-winner of the Battle of scholars will be awarded diplomas and grants!
 
What you need for the taking part in the Battle of scholars?
Step 1. Assemble a team.
There should be 4-5 participants and a captain.
Age till 35 years.
The team can have a coach who will help to prepare, but during internal phase of the battle he will only be able to cheer for his team.
Step 2. Apply for participation.
Step 3. Take part in the first stage of the battle. Decide clinical cases listed at the site www.scardio.ru
The first phase of the battle will start on June 3, 2014.
Step 4. Send your own case fron practice.
Step 5. Come to Moscow to Win the Battle of scholars and the title of the most erudite young cardiologists in Russia!
