VI Scientific and educational conference of Kavkaz cardiologists and physicians

On October 25-26 the VI Scientific and educational conference of Kavkaz cardiologists and physicians was held in Grozny, Russia. The meeting was supported by the Russian Ministry of Health.

More than 700 specialists and delegates from the North-Kavkaz federal region and 5 other Russian regions took part in the conference.

Scientific program consisted more than 120 presentations and expert lectures. Speakers presented 26 cities of Russian and former USSR republics.

Topics of the conference included cardiovascular prevention, drug therapy and surgical treatment, rehabilitation, comorbidity in clinical practice and organization of healthcare. A master class on ultrasound diagnostic and ECG was held. The main aspects of the new European guidelines and international study results were discussed.

An exhibition of pharmaceutical companies and producers of medical equipment took place within the conference. There were 9 companies presented.

Participants of the conference received 12 CME credits.
