The EAPC in Russia

The EAPC’s Secondary Prevention and Rehabilitation Section autumn meeting took place online on 22 October as part of the 3rd Saint-Petersburg Medical Innovation Forum organised by the Almazov National Medical Research Centre to commemorate the 40th anniversary.

A joint symposium was organised with Prof. Dominique Hansen (Belgium) who presented the objectives and future perspectives of the Section, Dr. Marco Ambrosetti promoted cardiovascular rehabilitation during the COVID-19 outbreak and Dr. Maria Simonenko (Saint-Petersburg) focused on cardioprotective therapy after heart transplantation.
