Russian National Congress of Cardiology 2015 - RSC – ESC Leadership Meeting
On September 22nd RSC – ESC Leadership Meeting was held.
ESC President Prof. Fausto Pinto reported that Russian Socity is on the third place by the number of members among all national societies in Europe. His colleagues rated the scale and scientific programme of the Russian congress very high. They noted that RSC leaders pay close attention to the educational activities and projects.
RSC President Prof. Evgeny Shlyakhto in his turn pointed out that Russian doctors became more active and now participate as delegates in many international congresses. He also stated that the number of RSC representatives in ESC structure also increased: at present 3 Russian specialists are members of the ESC Congress Programme Committee, and 5 RSC members are reviewers of the ESC Guidelines.
