Evgeny Shlyakhto was awarded with a Ludvig Nobel prize

On March 27th Evgeny Shlyakhto, president of the Russian Society of Cardiology, general director of the Federal Almazov North-West Medical Research Centre, chief cardiologists of the North-West Region of Russia, was awwarded with the Russian Ludvig Nobel prize that is presented for astonishing professional achievemtns and undoubted merits. Other laureates were: president of the Russian Rhythmic Gymnastics Federation Irina Viner-Usmanova, honoured designer of the Russian Federation Henrich Novozhilov, state councillor on justice Sergey Stepashin and national artist of the Russian Federation Karen Shakhnazarov.

Eleventh since the renewal award ceremony was held in Saint-Petersburg in Konstantinovsky Palace of Palace of Congresses State Complex.

Evgeny Shlyakhto received his award from his colleague and also a laureate president of the National Medical Chamber Leonid Roshal.
