A huge Gothic Cathedral (Catedral de Santa María de la Sede)  became the hallmark of Seville. It was being built for more than a hundred years (1401-1519.) It is the largest Gothic Church in Spain. Its total area is more than 11 thousand m2.

A sample of filigree Moorish fantasy - the Alcázar Palace (Reales Alcázares de Sevilla) — was built in 1350-1369. The Alcázar Palace is a good specimen of Mudejar style in Spain. For nearly 700 years it was the Palace of the Spanish kings, the upper floor of the Palace has been  used by the Royal family up today. The Congress was held in Palacio de Congressos, built specifically to host large exhibitions and fairs, which  has three huge exhibition halls of 7,200 sq. m.
