2 to 5 December 2015 the International Congress of experts in the field of cardiovascular imaging "EuroEcho-2015" took place in Seville, Spain. The city is the capital of the province of Sevilla, part of the southernmost region of Spain – Andalusia. Sevilla was founded as a Roman colony, its prosperity the town reached after the collapse of the great Cordoba Caliphate. It's surrounded by mountains in the picturesque valley of the river Guadalquivir. Sevilla declared itself as an outstanding center of international business in the early 90-ies of the previous century in connection with the carrying out of the world exhibition EXPO-92, which was timed to coincide with the five hundredth expedition of Columbus anniversary. Specially for the exhibition in Seville hundreds of thousands of multi-tiered trees were planted, various business objects and comfortable hotels with Congress capabilities were built, high speed railway Madrid — Sevilla was constructed, a new station and several bridges across the river appeared in the city.
