President of Icelandic national somnology society and at the same time chairman of young researchers community in ESRS (Early Career Research Network) presented a project and possible ways of attracting young fellows in society's activity and somnology development in general. Creation of Early Career Day on the first day of the ESRS congress started in Bologna in 2016 is among those projects.
Concluding ANSS chairman Liborio Parino wished all be serious about work, but at the same time stay chillness and spontaneity quoting Pablo Picasso: “It took me four years to paint like Raphael, but a lifetime to paint like a child”.

Separate meeting was on regulation of licensing of drivers with sleep disorders especially with breath problems in sleep. In 2014 in European Union was established obligatory valuation of respiratory affection and day somnolence in persons who apply for driver's license. President of Austrian society Prof. Wolfgang Mallin started a lively discussion with his speech on difficulties of introduction new rules in daily practice starting with a question: “Is a driving license a right or a privilege?”.
