Working Group on Arterial Hypertension in Pregnant Patients

Our Goals

Our goal is to join the efforts of cardiologists, clinical pharmacologists, obstetricians, pediatricians, general practitioners, family doctors and specialists in laboratory and functional tests to solve the following problems:

writing science-based guidelines on managing pregnant patients with cardiovascular diseases and metabolic disorders;
developing prognoses and preventive measures against progression of cardiovascular diseases and metabolic disorders in women after childbirth;
research on the effects of mother’s cardiovascular and metabolic condition as well as drug therapy on child’s health, developing prognoses and early cardiovascular prevention in children.

The following research studies are being planned:

arterial hypertension in pregnant women
metabolic disorders in pregnant women (obesity, gestational diabetes, dyslipidemia)

Our Responsibilities:

organizational and procedural work
compile the Russian registry of pregnant women with AH
develop guidelines on managing pregnant patients with AH and metabolic disorders
organize in Moscow and other Russian cities the centers for monitoring patients with AH, gestational diabetes, dyslipidemia and obesity during family planning, pregnancy and after childbirth
communication with the Russian Pharmaceutical Committee
