Dear Colleagues!

The Russian Society of Cardiology is not only an association of cardiologists but an all-Russia organization that consolidates and develops professional cooperation between cardiologists and doctors of related specialities.

The goals of the Russian Society of Cardiology are:

• to develop Russian medical science;

• to promote scientific research in the sphere of cardiology and related areas and introduction of its results into clinical practice;

• to facilitate professional and scientific cooperation with specialists and associations in other medical fields in the Russian Federation, development of international cooperation, and distribution of Russian achievements in the sphere of cardiology over the world.

Much has been done to achieve the goals but even more is to be done. I am sure that we'll do our best  to develop Cardiology as a science and to improve the quality of healthcare in Russia.
