Russian Society of Cardiology and Russian Scientific Society of Endovascular Therapies signed a declaration with the Stent for Life Initiative
Russia has already joined Stent for Life Initiative - a project aimed to improve the delivery of care and patient access to the life saving indications of primary percutaneous coronary intervention (p-PCI), thereby reducing mortality and morbidity in patients suffering from acute coronary syndromes (ACS). More than 20 member and affiliate countries and organisations are part of the growing Stent for Life Initiative.
On the ESC Congress in London 2015 Russian Society of Cardiology and Russian Scientific Society of Endovascular Therapies officialy joined the Initiative, and recently the Declaration was signed. According to this document both Societies fully complies with the aims and objectives of the Stent for Life Initiative and will actively participate in development and application of necessary arrangements to improve the delivery and patient access to the life saving indication of PCI. Declaration was signed by:
