Purpose Coordination of research in the sphere of molecular and genetic nature of inherited connective tissue disorders, morphologic manifestations, pathogenic mechanisms and clinical significance of heart connective tissue disorders. Development of coordinated approaches to diagnosis of heart connective tissue disorders, introduction of unified terminology and writing Russian guidelines on diagnosis, tactics, prevention and treatment of inherited connective tissue disorders in general and heart connective tissue disorders, in particular.
