The city against stroke: a social action Go Red For Women® will be held in Moscow

World Stroke Day is celebrated on October 29th. And a bright Fall event of the social project Go Red For Women® will take place on October 28 to 30, 2018 in Moscow: 5 famous Moscow monuments will be illuminated in red to attract the public attention to the issues of stroke and cardiovascular diseases.

 

The action is supported by the Moscow Administration.

 

  • The 5 monumets that will be illuminated that day are:

    •           Monument of Worker and Kolkhoz Woman (Exhibition of Achievements of National Economy, VDNKh)

    •           Statue of Konstantin Stanislavski and Vladimir Nemirovich-Danchenko (Kamergerskiy st.)

    •           Statue of Alexander Pushkin (Pushkinskaya square)

    •           Statue of Alexander Griboedov (Chistoprudniy blvd.)

    •           Sattue of Nikolay Gogol (Gogolevskiy blvd.)

From October 28th to 30th citizens and guests of the Russian capital will have an opportunity to see these objects of the cultural heritage in a different unusual light. Join the action and have a walk in the evening to see the monuments illuminated red.

 

Follow the steps to take part in the flashmob:

•           Visit as many monuments as you can and take selfies with it.

•           Post it on your open account in social media with hashtags #GoRed_Russia #ДеньборьбысИнсультом2018 and a text about cardiac prevention tips.

•           The tips can be found at information desk close to the monuments. Read carefully about the cardiovascular diseases and stroke prevention.

•           Receive a special pin from a volunteer.

 

The best photos in the social media will receive prizes: healthy food delivery for the whole month, Moscow quest tour and home scales with a function of body composition analysis.
